This week on View from the Gutters our topic work is:
Created by . . . . . Evan Dahm.
From the author’s website:
Rice Boy is a brightly colored and surreal fantasy adventure story, set in the ninth century of the Red Age of Overside. It was started in April 2006 and finished in May 2008. It is divided into five parts, and available in one printed edition.
On the episode, Tobiah made a reference to a reimagining of the Star Wars prequels. Those videos are by Belated Media on Youtube, the first of which can be found here. He incorrectly stated that the concept artist was Zach Weinersmith. It was in fact Jackie Whisler. Appropriate punishment is already being dispensed.
Our hosts for this episode are Joe Preti, Tobiah Panshin, Kirbotron2000, and Adam Panshin. On our next episode we will be reading All-Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder, by Frank Miller and Jim Lee.
